We are looking to hire an experienced Marketing Manager!


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, self-starting Marketing Manager with 4-6+ years of digital marketing and social media management to help plan and execute an omni-channel marketing campaign for Surf Park Summit 2022 October 16-18th in San Diego. The role includes marketing, physical attendance, content development, and being in the “spotlight” at Surf Park Summit with interviews, reporting, and marketing activations.


Apart from Summit responsibilities are creating client marketing deliverables (articles, reports, social posts), planning content alongside the Customer and Sales team.

Role Type: 

Full time, contract to hire - 1099 contractor for trial period

Compensation: $60,000 plus $10,000 annual bonus 


Responsibilities include: 

Oversee marketing elements of planning and execution of Surf Park Summit including coordination with contractors, designers, client success team, and media


Support sponsor and partner activations and serve as part time MC at Summit on stage in front of 200+ people + on video


Write and contribute content in terms of articles, blogs, research, and advertorial about sponsors and customers based on Customer Success calendar


Review survey data to gather insights and develop reports


Monitor industry news to learn about the wave pool and surfing industries


Inform Summit event programming, slide-ware, and programming


Develop the Summit printed materials including agenda, stage display, signage, banners, and sponsor activation pop-ups


Oversee website design and development teams to update and maintain the website, event pages, Insiders membership areas


Direct and instruct freelance design and writing contractors

 

Manage day-to-day customer and website communications


Manage vendors alongside Events team
